Disclaimer:

We're not lawyers—just friendly helpers! 🍻 This document isn’t intended to serve as legal advice. Alcohol laws are like recipes—every city, county, and state has its own unique regulations. For the most accurate guidance on local rules, reach out to your state liquor control board (they're the real experts here). While Certivance provides resources and keeps an eye on state-level regulations, always double-check with your local authorities—because even the best need a second opinion! 😉

State Training Program:

In New Mexico, individuals involved in the sale or service of alcoholic beverages must complete an approved Alcohol Server Education Course to obtain a server permit. This training is designed to ensure that employees understand and comply with state alcohol laws. The courses are offered by various private providers, with schedules, locations, and fees varying. After successfully completing the course, individuals receive a server permit, which is valid for three years. While servers are no longer required to carry their permit card at all times, employers must keep a copy of each server's permit on the premises.
