Online proctored exams monitored by ProctorU require specific system and software configurations to ensure exam security and functionality. You are responsible for confirming your device meets all requirements before scheduling your exam.
Most ProctorU exams require the Guardian Browser.

Important:
Mobile hotspots and tethered connections are strongly discouraged and may cause exam interruptions.
The following devices cannot be used for ProctorU exams:
Chromebooks (unless explicitly approved for extension workflow)
Tablets
Smartphones
Mobile devices of any kind
You will not be permitted to test if any of the following apply:
Remote control software is running
(Examples: TeamViewer, GoToMyPC, AnyDesk)
More than one monitor is connected
(Only a single monitor is allowed)
Headphones are used (unless explicitly approved by the exam provider)
The exam is launched inside a virtual machine
Apple Boot Camp is used
The operating system is unlicensed, inactive, or a test/build version
External monitors connected to closed laptops are not mirrored properly or are connected via docking stations
To avoid delays or forfeited exam attempts:
Install the Guardian Browser in advance
Run the system check on the same computer you will use on exam day
Test your webcam, microphone, speakers, and internet connection
