We're not lawyers—just friendly helpers! 🍻 This document isn’t intended to serve as legal advice. Alcohol laws are like recipes—every city, county, and state has its own unique regulations. For the most accurate guidance on local rules, reach out to your state liquor control board (they're the real experts here). While Certivance provides resources and keeps an eye on state-level regulations, always double-check with your local authorities—because even the best need a second opinion! 😉

State Training Program:

The Montana Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service (RASS) program is a state-approved training initiative designed to educate individuals involved in the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. The program aims to reduce alcohol-related incidents, prevent underage drinking, and ensure that alcohol is served responsibly and legally in Montana.

RASS training covers key topics such as verifying identification, recognizing signs of intoxication, understanding state alcohol laws, and managing alcohol-related situations in a way that promotes safety and compliance. The training is required for alcohol servers and sellers working in licensed establishments like bars, restaurants, and liquor stores.

While the RASS program is not mandatory for all employees, it is highly recommended to ensure that workers are knowledgeable about Montana's alcohol laws and best practices for responsible service. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive certification, which is typically valid for three years. The program helps promote a safer environment in Montana's alcohol-serving establishments by equipping employees with the necessary tools to handle their responsibilities responsibly and legally
